Midi-8R
The Midi-8R is a low cost Rack-mounting Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) providing an economical remote monitoring solution. Communication options include GPRS, PSTN and Ethernet.
THIS PRODUCT IS NOW OBSOLETE AND HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THE MIDI-10R
It can monitor 8 analogue inputs, 16 Digital Inputs and 4 digital outputs as standard. Capacity can be increased using expansion modules or by interconnecting RTUs together as master & slave.
The RTU is supplied in a 19" 2U rack. A wall-mounting variant (Midi8) is also available.
The various communication port facilities of the Mid-8R provide the means to collect data from a large range of external field devices, including Modbus PLCs and Intelligent Meters.
