Midi-8
The Midi8 is a small, low cost Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) providing a robust, economical solution for any remote monitoring application.
THIS PRODUCT IS NOW OBSOLETE AND HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THE MIDI-10 RTU
Communication options include GPRS, PSTN and Ethernet. The Midi8 RTU is supplied ready to go.
It can monitor 8 analogue inputs, 16 Digital Inputs and 4 digital outputs as standard. Capacity can be increased using expansion modules or by interconnecting RTUs together as master & slave.
The RTU has a four line liquid crystal display and a 16 key keypad for local operator display and interaction. It is supplied in an IP65 rated polycarbonate enclosure with a hinged lid for wall mounting and provides easy handling. A 19" Rack-mounting variant (Midi-8R) is also available.
The various communication port facilities of the Midi8 provide the means to collect data from a large range of external field devices, including Modbus PLCs and Intelligent Meters.
